Chicago Police Proven To Have Planted Guns In 14 Cases Where No Gun Was Found On People They Claimed Were Armed

Is anyone from Chi surprised?? Pigs indeed….

Let’s start with a quick game. What do these things have in common? A flashlight, a cell phone, a wrench, an L-shaped object under a towel, a Chicago Fire Department badge in a wallet…Give up?

According to the Chicago Tribune, they are all things that Chicago police have been unable to differentiate from guns, all items that were carried by unarmed people that were shot by police.

At least 14 times since 2010, Chicago police officers shot someone and said they thought the person had a gun, though police ultimately NEVER found one. That opened up the city to millions of dollars in legal claims, according to public records.

More importantly than the millions paid out because of unarmed people being shot is that unarmed people were being shot by police.

How can people expect to trust the police when so many unarmed people are being shot? And the officers get a paid vacation for shooting someone. These issues have to be address, they cannot continue to be ignored.
