Adventures in Stereo: Madlib + Pete Rock Edition Audio

Looks like a nice set!

Beat Junkies co-founder J. Rocc is the host of a radio program called “Adventures in Stereo” which takes place weekly Sunday nights on KPFK Public Radio. Each week’s episode carries special guests and themes and provides listeners with two hours of ear candy. Past shows include Sean Price and Roy Ayers tributes, visits from Arabian Prince, and more. A celebrated turntablist, J. Rocc has released a collection of mixtapes in addition to production work for a handful of Stones Throw projects, which makes his two featured artists on this week’s installment a family affair.

This week’s episode is titled “Adventures in Stereo: the Madlib Carnival Special Featuring Madlib & Pete Rock.” In it, listeners can hear joints by everyone from Miles Davis to MED, Future to James Brown. Press play below for 120 minutes of pure gold to get over the midweek hump.
