Lord Rakim Radio Show #1

A trip down memory lane… over 15 years ago I started this thing that ended up being the Lord Rakim Radio Show…. I had a hiphop site back then called the Main Ingredient and this was spun off of that.. I removed the commentary and just kept the music from this show

Download LR Radio 28 – One DriveBox

Well after my usual hiatus, I’m back with a new format and a bunch of dope hip-hop. I decided on the format change since I’ve been focusing more on the music and less on my ranting and raving lol . Not saying I’m not speaking on anything on the show ever again BUT I have other outlets and mediums to elucidate and educate…. like getting Mark Spark and his shenanigans back in regular rotation. I’m sure he’ll be delighted about that lol

Nitty Gritty Radio Episode 69 (Part 1) Best of Nine Four (’94)

This looks like a real nice mix here but they always have good shows… Check it out…

Peace world! It’s your boy Wil Infamous here with the last episode of 2014! For this last episode I thought I’d pay homage to one of the greatest years (IMHO) in Hip Hop history, 1994! A plethora of gems were dropped in the year ’94 so I had to supersize this playlist and pack as many jewels as I can in 80 mins. So we got 20 tracks of hot Golden Era fire from start to finish. Much like my Best of ’93 playlist from last year it was damn nearly impossible to fit everyone in. Albums like Pete Rock & CL Smooth’s “The Main Ingredient”, The Gravediggaz “6 Feet Deep”, Dred Scott “Breakin Combs”, Organized Konfusion “Stress: The Extinction Agenda” and others didn’t make the cut but I did try to show some love in the episode’s cover art.

Since this episode is 80 mins long it’ll be the only playlist posted on the podbean site this month (due to space). But don’t fret my Underground/ Indie Hip Hop junkies, I got a Episode 69 (Part 2) playlist available for stream/ download up on the Nitty Gritty Radio Soundcloud page. It got bangers from Your Old Droog, Prhyme, Run The Jewels, Termanology and many more artist that made 2014 one of the best years for true Hip Hop since these ’94 gems dropped.
