Chicago is Tracking Kids With GPS Monitors That Can Call and Record Them Without Consent

Good ole Crook County…

Cook County has a new contract for juvenile ankle monitors that critics say are an invasion of privacy.

On March 29, court officials in Chicago strapped an ankle monitor onto Shawn, a 15-year-old awaiting trial on charges of armed robbery. They explained that the device would need to be charged for two hours a day and that it would track his movements using GPS technology. He was told he would have to be given permission to leave his house, even to go to school. But he found out that through his monitor, officers wouldn’t just be able to track his location, as most electronic monitors do. They would also be able to speak—and listen—to him. Continue reading

Mobdro Android Streaming App Pushes Wi-Fi Password Stealing Malware

Ruh roh…. I didn’t use it much anyway but bye bye Mobdro…. better safe than sorry….

Mobdro is an Android streaming app that many uses as an alternative to the Kodi app but comes with much less credibility. In spite that fact, and due to its pirate-friendly nature and widespread support for devices like Amazon Fire TV Stick, Google Chromecast, and many Android OS versions, Mobdro has grown in popularity, enjoying a significant userbase nowadays. However, a report from “Digital Citizens” puts fuel in the fire of distrust, as Mobdro was found by researchers to be amongst shady applications that push Wi-Fi network credentials, malware stealers. We need more music like this!

https://esmuzik.bandcamp.com/track/the-do-better-challenge-single

Anyone who has frequented social media will be able to identify with someone inside or outside of their circle who fits the description. This jam is a summary of the many wack things I’ve observed on my instagram and facebook feeds over the past few years. The moral of the story is… “Do better”! A number of themes covered on this one.

This song is featured on the upcoming album entitled “Social Meteor Vol 1: Inspired By My Timeline” due out summer 2019. Stay tuned. Enjoy.

Been saying this for a while… the Gates Foundation is no good and was a good way for Bill to avoid taxes back when he ran Microsoft… but she is misguided when it comes to orangina…

In the age of YouTube, news interviews often go viral. Yet there are few videos more explosive than when Nigerian national Obianuju Ekeocha, a biomedical scientist currently living in England, sparred with a BBC anchor in a clip now viewed by tens of millions. Continue reading

Takign credit for the hard work “black” people do… that’s mighty white of you Kim Kardashian…

A History Of Black Cowboys And The Myth That The West Was White

I knew this already which makes the whole “Cowboys & Indians” real self hatred when u realize BOTH were Afrikan descendants…

A quick internet search of “American cowboy” yields a predictable crop of images. Husky men with weathered expressions can be seen galloping on horseback. They’re often dressed in denim or plaid, with a bandana tied ‘round their neck and a cowboy hat perched atop their head. Lassos are likely being swung overhead. And yes, they’re all white.

Contrary to what the homogenous imagery depicted by Hollywood and history books would lead you to believe, cowboys of color have had a substantial presence on the Western frontier since the 1500s. In fact, the word “cowboy” is believed by some to have emerged as a derogatory term used to describe Black cowhands. Continue reading

Law enforcement lying… wow, that’s new… smmfh

After Eric Garner died during a confrontation with New York City police in 2014, one officer involved in the struggle says he wrote up paperwork exaggerating the seriousness of the dead man’s suspected crime.

Officer Justin D’Amico testified Tuesday during the disciplinary trial of officer Daniel Pantaleo. Pantaleo is accused of placing Garner in a banned chokehold during the arrest. Continue reading
